The Ex-Presidents... are surfers.

Sadly, Patrick Swayze died this week.

While many will remember him as the heart throb in Dirty Dancing, or as a tearjerker in Ghost, he will always be my a teenage role model to lead a life of bank robbery, all to fund an endless summer of surfing.

I was, however, singing "She's Like The Wind" the whole time I painted this.

Shel Silverstein Redesign

This is a redo of a Shel Silverstein image called Hairy Jazz. I did this for a friend that wanted it as a tattoo. The original really wouldn't translate, so he asked if I'd change it up, and mix it with my style. I think that means, in my case, make it messier with bigger blacks. This weird mouth full of cannons and soldiers is going to be at the top of his arm, with this friendly little guys marching up his arm.
